Blogging for the Fun of It

There’s a lot to be said for blogging just because you want to. Forget about the marketing and SEO potential for a minute. Is all that work you’re doing just to pay the bills, or do you also want a creative outlet? I think that’s the real reason blogs are flourishing. The pure pleasure of it.
One of my favorite blogs, 43 Folders, just changed its focus from “productivity” to “finding the time and attention to do your best creative work.” Ahh, I like the sound of that. I can feel my shoulders drop when I hear that. I love both topics but I’m even more drawn to 43 Folders now.
